Paving the Way to the SuperBowl
Hi there, I am the Eagles Gnome. I am the official mascot of Green Fans the Movie, which means I am the mascot for ALL Eagles fans from ALL points of the globe.Don’t let my lack of height fool you. If you try and cross me, I will take you down like BDawk taking down a receiver going across the middle.My first official trip as official mascot of Green Fans the Movie was to the Minneapolis Metrodome on Sunday, January 4th to see OUR Eagles defeat the Vikings in the Wild Card Round of the NFC Playoffs. During my stay in the "Land of 10000 Lakes” I was given the moniker of Metro Gnome... not sure if I like but after that win, I'll live with it. I also granted some lucky fans their dreams come true by allowing them to be photographed with me at an iHop in the Mall of America, some Hooters girls (ok, that one was MY dream come true) as well as at some local bar called “The Loony.”
Hey, it’s Minnesota, what'ya expect? They elected Jesse Ventura for governor for chrissakes. At some point during the game someone started up with me, left me with a little scar but that’s nothing compared to how they look. Oh yeah, I also hung out with OUR Eagles at their team hotel. That place had a killer buffet, just ask Big Red. Along the way, I've also been seen with the likes of David Akers, Hank Baskett, Kendra Wilkinson — the Playboy Playmate Hank's dating, lucky dog — Dave Spadaro, Butch Buchanico Director of Team Security, Derrick Gunn and some guy named Eskin, who seems to always be no less than 10 feet from Big Red at all times. My next stop of course will be The Meadlowlands where this Sunday, January 11th, OUR Eagles look to keep this playoff mojo they have going. Clearly with me in attendance, their chances of winning will increase exponentially, which means their chances are increased by a helluva lot! Ok, that’s for now. I'll fill you in on my Meadowlands mayhem next time.
